About the Artist
Araceli Casas was born and raised in Houston, Texas.  Much of her Pro-Life activistism is done through her artwork.   Other themes in her paintings include Christian themes, Pop Culture, Psychological themes, and Abstract art.   Araceli received her Liberal Arts degree (with concentrations in Theology and Studio Arts) and a Creative Writing minor from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.   Through the University of St. Thomas, Araceli took art classes at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas.   She has completed a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Art History at the University of Houston and is currently working towards a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction for Art Education and a Museum Education Certificate.  Araceli works mostly with DUO oils on canvas.

The series Veggies in Outer Space was shown in the William R. Jenkins Architecture & Art Library at the University of Houston in 2015
